Five Questions For Each Day

Five Questions For Each Day

Posted on 10. Oct, 2009 by ChuckScoggins in Leadership, Productivity, Random

Five questions that I ask (or am going to start asking) at the beginning of each day:

  1. What one thing can I do today that will make a difference in 1, 3, 5, or 10 years from now?
    [do that thing first]
  2. What are the three most important tasks on my task list?
  3. What can I delegate to someone else (must choose at least one task)?
  4. What did I do yesterday that I need to re-do better today?
  5. What new tasks need to be added to my task list?

What questions do you ask yourself each day? Let me know of any that I missed in the comments!

I just wanted to point out, for the sake of transparency, that I’m just starting the habit of asking most of these on a daily basis. It’s pretty easy to think about what tasks I need to get done and what need to be added to my list, but the others take a bit more effort. I’ll keep you updated on how it’s going.
