Occasionally on Tuesdays I’ll give you my thoughts – random and off the top of my head. Well, here goes…
- We’re gearing up for our big Christmas video shoot this weekend. We’ll be doing load-in and set-up on Wednesday (we bring in extra lights, special cameras, monitoring systems, etc), rehearsing on Thursday, and shooting on Friday and Saturday. It makes for a long week…but it’s a long week of fun. I love working at a place where I get to do special projects like this with an incredible team like we have.
- This year, our Christmas production is called “Arrival.” It takes place in an airport. It is a 4-week (first three weeks in Dec, plus Christmas Eve) drama that takes place in our services. I’d love to hear about why you have going on for Christmas.
- Today is election day. I know that the selection of our leaders is really important…and I believe in freedom of speech, 100%. But seriously, these political ads the last few weeks have been killing me. Thank goodness it’s almost over. And, yes, I voted.
- Along with our Christmas video shoot this weekend, we’re working on the branding of our new message series that begins in January. It’s all about relationships. We don’t have a title for it yet but we are pretty sure it’s going to make a big difference in relationships!
